It began with a deep thought after an observation of a sonchafa (champak) leaf that regrows once the leaf is dried out; a moment when the pace of everything else fell away, and there was nothing left to do but pay attention. To the warmth of the dewy grass. To what skin actually needed, rather than what it was told to want. To how long a thing takes when it isn't rushed.

Surprise Elements grew out of that pause. Every product carries the same instruction inside it: slow down long enough to use it properly. A body butter warmed between the palms before it meets the skin. A soap worked into a lather instead of wiped across it. A candle lit before the room asks for it.
